How do I create a new PGP Key Pair?

  • Open up PGP Keys.
  • If this is the first time that you have run PGP keys then a wizard should. If that doesn't appear (or this isn't the first time you've used PGP Keys) then click the "Generate New Keypair" icon in the button bar.
  • Follow the Wizard through filling in the relevant details that apply to you. When you are asked to fill in your name, please put in the company name (this makes life much easier for us when we put the key onto the secure server). There are also several details you will need to select when they are shown:
    • Diffie-Hellman/DSS
    • 2048 bits (2048 Diffie-Hellman/1024 DSS)
    • Key pair never expires
    • Sending your key to the root server is optional (you'll need to be connected to the internet to send this). Please see the instructions in PGP for more details. If you aren't sure then please leave this unselected.
    • Make sure that you keep a note of your password. If you lose that then you will NOT be able to decrypt any messages and MUST set-up a new PGP key.
  • Once all these options have been selected then you should be returned back to the PGP Keys window, with a list of all the keys that are available on your machine.

How do I Export my public PGP key?

  • Open up PGP Keys (if not already).
  • Find your key in the list that is displayed.
  • Select your key from the list by left clicking once on it. (It should then become highlighted).
  • Right click on your key and select export from the menu.
  • A save box will be displayed. Save the file to your hard disk. (NB: Please don't tick the "Include Private Keys" box, as this will send the secure part of the key).
  • Close PGP Keys.
  • Then send the file that you saved to pgp@get-trolleyed.co.uk, for uploading to the secure server and to receive details of what to do next.

I've got my Shop ID, now what?

  • Login to your shop admin system.
  • Click on the Order Processing Button on the menu.
  • Select GT PGP from the drop down menu and click update at the bottom.
  • In the Shop ID box enter the Shop ID that was sent to you.
  • You may want to edit the e-mail templates that are associated with the GT PGP payment system.
  • Click Update at the bottom again.
Your shop should be ready to take payments now.

Can I change how my shop looks on the secure server?

The secure server pages are all template based. Please download this file. This zip file contains the following:
tpl_blank.htm This is the main page where all the messages and forms will be displayed.
tpl_payment.htm The acutal credit card form. This isn't a full page but is displayed inside the tpl_blank.htm page.
messages.txt This contains the messages that are displayed to the customer (eg: Thanks message, etc). And also the layout/contents of the e-mail sent to the shop owner.
Once you have finished editing these templates, please send them back to support.

NB: Please remember to include any images that you have used on these pages otherwise your customers will get errors when they reach the secure server.
